Mixprism — The DJ Mix Tracklist Platform Built by DJs
Every DJ set. Decoded.
Mixprism is a free platform that decodes DJ mixes by extracting and identifying tracks from YouTube DJ sets. Whether you are a DJ hunting for IDs, a fan trying to identify a track from your favorite Boris Brejcha mix, or a producer researching the melodic techno scene, Mixprism gives you the full tracklist in one click.
Open any DJ mix on YouTube, click the "Add to Mixprism" button via our Chrome extension, and our engine extracts the tracklist from the description, top comments, and metadata — instantly. No signup. No ads. No tracking.

👤 Founder & origin
Mixprism is independently operated by Damien Chapus, a French DJ and developer based in Antibes, on the French Riviera. Damien produces electronic music under the alias Damian William, and has been releasing tracks since the 2000s on labels including Armada Music, Sirup Music, Black Hole Recordings, Dim Mak, and Revealed Recordings — with track support from artists including Avicii, Tiësto, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, and Paul van Dyk.
The idea for Mixprism came out of a simple frustration: as a DJ and producer, Damien spent years sifting through YouTube comments and music recognition apps trying to identify tracks in DJ mixes. He realized the data — track titles in descriptions, IDs in comments, timestamps from fans — was already public, just scattered across thousands of videos. So he built Mixprism: a single platform that aggregates, cleans, and structures all this data, making electronic music genuinely discoverable for the first time.
You can find Damien's own DJ work on damianwilliam.com and his Overclub melodic techno radio show on YouTube.
Find Damian William on Wikidata, Spotify, Beatport, Discogs, SoundCloud, and Instagram.
🌍 Independent and ethical
Mixprism is bootstrapped, ad-free, and built without VC backing. Our revenue comes exclusively from Pro subscriptions, which means we serve our users — not advertisers. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We don't run ads on our pages. Ever.
